Tips to help you navigate the site:

Home = Important Updates - will direct you to other pages for more info as needed

News/Updates = Detailed Information.  During the season, last minute schedule changes & more detail as changes occur.

Team pages = rosters, "messages" from the coaches, game summaries, etc.  This is typically NOT updated until the season begins.

Pictures = added as they become available 

 

GAME TIPS FOR ALL PT WARRIORS

Arrive Minimum of 1/2 hour before game

  • Check your equipment night before including cup, mouth piece, Game Jersey, etc... (YOUR MOTHER AND DAD ARE NOT YOUR EQUIPMENT MANAGER)
  • Make certain the head of your stick is tight.  
  • Make certain you have a butt end on your stick, taped properly, etc..
  • BLACK SHORTS....not blue, not green, not red, BLACK.
  • Get a good night's rest the night before your game.
  • Thank your parents for all they have done for you.

 Remember to contact your coach as soon in advance as possible if you will miss ANY practice or ANY game. 

US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP Every PT Youth and MS player IS registered and has a membership number. Here is how you access your membership number: click on "Favorites" at the bottom of our PTBOYSLAX website. Click on USLACROSSE website. Click on the icon marked "membership" on the left side of the site. Scroll down to "frequently asked questions" Click onto first question surrounding membership. 


Caring for Game jerseys --

Game Jerseys should NOT be worn to practices.  
Washing instructions as follows:
GENTLE CYCLE, COLD WATER ONLY. 
MILD SOAP, NO BLEACH or SOFTENERS. 
DO NOT SOAK or PRESOAK.  
DRIP DRY ONLY!  NO DRY CLEANING, NO IRONING. 

Some very simple Game Day DO's and DONT's

DO positively encourage your son.
DO commend your son on a fine play or game.
DO ask your son if he enjoyed himself and had FUN?
DO allow your son the opportunity to focus once dropped off at the game.
DO congratulate your son in participating as a Lacrosse Warrior!
DO NOT yell at the refs.
DO NOT chastise your son for any errant play.
DO NOT attempt to coach or speak to your son during a time out, end of quarter or halftime.  
DO  NOT speak to the coaches after the game other than to thank them or congratulate them and the team.
