2010 Summer Camps
& Leagues (updated 6/3)
Dear PT Lax Friends...
So the million $$
question...what camp do you select for your Warrior? It all depends on what you want for your son, that's what camp.
In seeking the perfect camp, the following are important questions and factors that should be part of your decision making
process. Once you have a good grasp on the answers, you can now determine the "best" camp. You should
want to know:
1. Times and dates
2. Cost
3. Instructor to Player ratio (the lower the
ratio the better, i.e., 8 campers to 1 instructor)
4. What type of instructors? High Schoolers? Collegiate?
Professional?
5. Distance to your home
6. Type of camp (all Lacrosse? other activities such as biking,
swimming, rock climbing?)
7. Reputation (do you know anyone you can talk to that will recommend the camp or not?)
8.
Who else is going to this camp from my son's peer group?
9. Grade levels of instruction (are they mixed? 6th graders
with 11th graders??)
10. Is the camp day or overnight? Are meals included? How many? Snacks?
Good
Luck and happy hunting,
Frank Lo Castro
